The math runs entirely in your browser. The income you enter isn't sent to us or to anyone else, isn't saved, and is gone when you reload or close the page.

Cookies and tracking

None. The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, ads, or tracking pixels, and stores nothing in your browser.

Other companies

The page, its fonts, and its data all load from this site; it makes no requests to anyone else's servers. Links to the IRS and the Bureau of Labor Statistics take you to their sites, which have their own policies.

Server logs

Like nearly every website, the service that hosts this one may automatically record basic request details, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. Those logs can't contain your income, because it is never sent.

If any of this changes, this page will say so first, with a new date at the top.
